Where I Stand

Putting South Georgia's People First

1

AGRICULTURE & TIMBER

“Support for the people who feed and fuel Georgia.”

Agriculture and timber are the backbone of South Georgia — not just an industry, but a way of life. Our farmers and loggers are facing rising costs, shrinking markets, unpredictable weather, and mill closures that hit families hard. As State Representative, I’ll fight for policies that strengthen our supply chains, protect our landowners, and keep decisions in the hands of the people who actually work the land. That means cutting useless regulations, fixing broken programs, improving rural infrastructure, and opening new markets for Georgia-grown products. South Georgia feeds and fuels this state — and it’s time Atlanta started treating us like the priority we are.

2

COST OF LIVING

“Real relief for working families.”

Families in South Georgia are being squeezed from every direction — groceries, electricity, housing, fuel, and healthcare have all climbed higher while paychecks aren’t keeping up for many workers. I’ll fight for common-sense policies that lower everyday costs: more competition in the utility market, transparency in local fee structures, support for small businesses that drive wages, and tax relief that puts money back in the pockets of working families. Our people shouldn’t feel punished for living, working, and raising a family in South Georgia. We deserve leadership that makes life easier — not harder.

3

EDUCATION

“Strong schools for our children.”

As a middle-school teacher, I see firsthand what our kids and teachers need — and what they’re not getting. South Georgia schools should never struggle for resources while other parts of the state get priority. I’ll fight for fair funding, safer campuses, stronger reading and math programs, and more support for teachers who work miracles with limited tools. We need to keep politics out of the classroom and let teachers teach. Every child — no matter their ZIP code — deserves a great education and a real chance at success. I’ll always fight for our students, our teachers, and our schools.

4

PUBLIC SAFETY

“Back the blue, support first responders.”

Safe communities don’t happen by accident — they happen because men and women put on the uniform every day to protect us. I stand shoulder-to-shoulder with our law enforcement officers, firefighters, EMS teams, and dispatchers. They deserve respect, training, staffing, and resources — not bureaucratic roadblocks. In Atlanta, I’ll fight for stronger penalties for violent crime, better mental-health support for first responders, and funding that helps departments recruit and retain good officers. South Georgia backs the blue — and I’ll make sure the state does too.

5

RURAL HEALTHCARE

“Care close to home.”

No family in South Georgia should have to drive an hour or more just to see a doctor or get basic treatment. Rural hospitals and clinics are closing their doors because the system is stacked against them. I’ll fight for smart, conservative healthcare solutions that help local providers stay open — expanding telehealth, improving rural reimbursement rates, supporting EMS coverage, and cutting red tape that hurts patients. Healthcare shouldn’t be a privilege of big cities. Our families deserve quality care close to home, and I’ll make sure rural voices are heard loud and clear in Atlanta.

6

INFRASTRUCTURE

“Broadband, clean water, and real investment.”

South Georgia has been overlooked for far too long. While cities grow, our small towns wait for basic investment — reliable broadband, clean water systems, maintained roads, and updated storm drainage. I’ll fight to make rural infrastructure a top priority in the state budget and ensure that funding actually gets to the communities that need it most. Broadband should be everywhere — for students, farmers, and businesses. Water systems should be upgraded before they fail. Roads should be safe. Real investment means a stronger economy, stronger families, and a stronger South Georgia.
